How do I start a Iternet radio?
One of my friends called and I honestly have no idea, and I hope so that the power of yahoo answers can be posted again ... How can someone (preferably easy) to start their own radio program on Internet. What is needed? How can you do to get a hearing? Its culture? Any advice on growing and trying to get into radio normal? Is it possible to skip the idea of Internet radio and get a sample (although in a rare moment) on a regular radio slot?
The only thing about Internet radio, or is access to a wider audience (the world) instead of a "small" (compared) and the home crowd or access the live radio. What You need is a Web site (accessible if his show PPL) with lots (and I mean good) for increase bandwidth, as it is streaming audio to their listeners. Doing a live broadcast on the Internet is difficult, because some PPL could have chopped connections and thus lose part of their sentences, etc., so you may lose some potential listeners. It may be easier to create 10-15 minute clips small shows and leave your download at your own leisure (for podcasting). Getting a growing audience and is a difficult process. I think the best way is to make connections with other Internet programs, particularly those with a broader customer site, they have to know your program if possible (u'll likely to prove u're worthy first), or share links to their websites. Finally, if u get a fair hearing, or may start go to local radio stations live page "website and ask if You Can get one or the ground (like 30 min / slot 1 hour) in his radio program on Internet. Is likely receive less competition for places in the small radio stations, but if I understand correctly, means you get greater exposure to local audiences and greater experience of live radio. Be prepared to show that you have some potential to make them more listeners, as it is the only thing they take to heart. After that, u're in Ur itself, but I hope this helps a little.
